This article analyzes the activities of the prosecution authorities of the Karakalpak ASSR in the 1960s–1980s and their personnel support issues from a historical and legal perspective. The study highlights the role of prosecution authorities in organizational development, personnel policy, the fight against crime, and ensuring the rule of law in the fields of labor and education. The impact of constitutional and sectoral legislative acts adopted during this period on the development of the prosecution system was also analyzed. Based on archival sources and statistical data, the effectiveness of the prosecutor's office's activities and existing problems have been identified
