Abstract
The article analyzes the features of the use of phraseologigal units reflecting the richness of the Karakalpak language in the poetry of the prominent representative of Karakalpak literature, Abulkasim Otepbergenov. The poet widely employs phraseological expressions formed in the national language to enhance the expressiveness of his works, in addition. He creates an individual style by adding certain words to phraseological units or partially modifying their structure. The article examines these units from the perspective of their artistic and linguopoetic characteristics
