In this article, the geometric meaning of Monge's theorem is discussed in depth. In the study, its mathematical meaning, historical development process, role in modern geometry, as well as methods of analytical proof are widely covered. The article presents the logical and analytical foundations of Monge's theorem; that is, the geometric law that points formed by pairwise external tangent lines of three circles always lie on the same straight line. According to the results of the study, the theorem is generalized not only within the framework of classical Euclidean geometry, but also in systems of projective and analytic geometry
