Abstract
This paper considers non-informative and informative right random censoring models under the regularity conditions of the probability density family. It is shown that the Fisher information for an unknown parameter can be expressed via the hazard rate functions of the observed variables. This formula reveals the statistical structure of information loss due to censoring. The results of numerical implementation of the proposed formulas are presented, confirming their applicability for parameter estimation with incomplete data
