This article analyzes the impact of marriage, divorce and family structure, which are important components of geodemography, on demographic processes related to the population. The Andijan region was taken as the object of research. This is because the Andijan region has its own demographic situation and potential in our country, and there are specific changes in the age and sex composition of the population. The study of these changes provides an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the current state of the demographic situation in the region and the laws of its future development
